NEW COMMISSIONER APPOINTED
The IFL welcomes Denny Williams as our new Commissioner who was formerly our Co-Commissioner. Our former Commissioner, Michael Van Allen Sr., has stepped down to become the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Venoms. We wish him well in his new position. Forrest West who was formerly our General Manager will now be our Co-Commissioner. The IFL looks forward to working with our new appointees as they strive to take the IFL to the next level. Also, they will be working closely with the EFA's Commissioners to make the league better as a unit.

IFL AND EFA MERGER
This merger may come as a surprise to some but was in discussion for two years. We are excited to finally make the announcement! The EFA Conference will consist of teams located in New Jersey and further northeast. The IFL Conference will consist of teams located in Pennsylvania and further southeast. To kick off our first season, there will be a launch party and a huge season opener game between our 2009 champions and their 2009 champions. More information coming soon. MANDATORY CPR TRAINING ON SATURDAY, JUNE 5TH
The American Red Cross will be giving CPR training to IFL coaches on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm, 1500 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. It is mandatory that each team sends their head coach and one other coach to be certified. If you already have certification, please bring it. Cost is $50.00 per person. |
